An experience that changed your life

I used to be a guy who carried a lot of money in my wallet wherever I went. I don't know why, but doing that gave me a false sense of security. I thought that always having some money with me, could be useful in an emergency. Then, one day a guy tried to rob me, and I tried to fight back him, for I didn't want my money to be stollen like that. So, he pointed is gun on my face, and there was nothing I could do, but to let him go with my wallet. I felt devastated and even tried to go to the police, but unfortunately, I lost my money. After that, I learned a lesson of not carrying money in my wallet, and not give so much value to material things, because life still is the most important thing to be saved!

  2. I think that I passed wasn't so serious, but my story change me a lot. Well, one day I was very nervous to the seminary at university, I didn't want to speak in the presentation, because the teacher was very boring and exigent. At all costs, my group needed the score 10, because one of our friends taked note very low in the proof, and only a score 10 in the seminary could help her. So,in the presentation,to my surprise, I was very well and we taked score 10! I was very happy and learned to trust myself.

  3. I said in the last class, I worked at APAE with recreation and teahing swimming to children that have Down Syndrome. When I knew that I would go learn for them,I thought that would be very hard, and maybe I would not have patience teaching. So I started to know more about them dificults, limitations and to break paradigms. The experience was incredible. I always was anxious to go the next day and to interact with them with many tricks and games.
I changed my mind, and today I can say that was a experience with great value for me and was easier that I thought.

  5. I had a complicated childhood, I don't know why, in fact, maybe I know why, but it isn't important to comment now. When I was a child I studied in a small school, I was so bad there, almost every day I fighted with another kid outside the school and when I became a boy the things got worse, sometimes, the school called my mother there because I was a lot of mischievous, I didn't fight more outside the school but I didn't want to study and I didn't know nothing about the subjects, and I answered the teachers back, I made hole on the children's labor that were in their classroom, until the seventh year I stayed in this condition. But in the eigth year I decided to reflect and I could see that it was everything worong, then from this year my life changed totally, at first I moved of school and there I became the best student of the room. What made I change my mind, I don't know, but think God!

  6. I used to be a kind of guy that didn't care to study. But after some experiences, i've changed my mind.
Six or five years ago I, generally, lived my life to weekends, friends, girls, beachs, movie theaters and more. But, after some conversations with parents, I changed some habits.
I started to study more. Because of this I get some results. I had good notes at the school, a better relationship with my family and I get in at the college. than I get out, but I will try again.
After all, I realized that is important, alwais, the renewal. And is important caught up the independence. Even because everybody dreams with her.

  8. Last year, during a class, the teacher said we should take a patient who suffered a serious car accident.
I Thought that the patient was a sad and unhappy person, because with so many sequels caused by the accident, her life had become, without doubt, very difficult.
When the patient arrived, all my initial impression disappeared. In fact, the woman was a contagious and joyful person. She was also very nice. She told me his story and talked her way to face her difficulties. She taught me many things.
Since that day, I see life differently. I appreciate everything more and see my problems with more wisdom.

  10. When I was 16 years old, studying in High School, living in Rio de Janeiro, in subject Brazilian Literature, we were studying about ASA BRANCA’s lyric, composed by LUIZ GONZAGA, and we studied that song and its lyric, through 2 or 3 months. Analyzing each line and each strophe, we got surprised how a man unlettered can write a lot of lines that there are all kind of rhymes as possible in a same song. Our teacher remarked that until that date, the Brazilian Music never had another song like that, rich in each line. In that occasion, understanding de song, I felt a strong wish to know the North-East of Brazil, and here I am, living in the same region where he tells us the entire story.

  11. I worked in a school to include students with difficulties of learning. I helped one student for one year. He has nineteen years old. The boy had memory difficulty, but my main activity with him was socialization, because he didn’t has any friends. I used to stay with him in the class to get better the relations. A lot of time I repeated what the teacher’s discourse and sometimes I had to teach again. He didn’t get to control his emotions. Sometimes, I made me feel afraid about these situations. Was a test of the patience! But I learned to be a professional. When he had emotion problems, I helped my student based on psychology theory. I can think about what kind treatments to use. This experience was very important to my personal growth. I learned to respect and to live with the difference.

  12. When I knew my prayer group my look of life changed. After this, God realized many miracles in my life and my family's life.
The way to see the problems and the suffering is another.
Now I have more strength to go beyond the difficulty.
Now I'm more happy, because I know that God is faithful.

  13. I used to hate hospitals. I still hate it, but an experience that changed my perspective was when my grandfather had been in a hospital last year. He was sick about 3 times in a month, usually got at dawn on emergency.
I always stayed with him, but i didn't like to see my grandfather suffer. One day, i spend my afternoon with him in a hospital and was the last time that i saw him because on the day after he died.
I will never forget that day, the last one. It was my last chance to talk and touch my grandfather. And today, i'm thankful to be in the hospital on that day. I learned that we have to make good use of all the moments that are gave to us.
