ResponderExcluirIt’s a popular speech in United States. In Brazil, by Portuguese, we have the same in another sentence like “once wet cat, it fears cold water”
We don’t know who said this phrase first, but the author pointed out about some bad experiences in our lives. Sometimes you don’t do something because you’d lived a bad experience in a past and you won’t do the same again.
We keep in memory all our goods and bad moments of life. We know what is good and allowed to do, but sometimes we have feel in our skin the bad experience and remember it when that moment is again in front of you.
A person which lived a lot, makes less mistakes.

I think at the end of the day the thing that Josh and I learned about marriage was that... he's one of my all time favorite people. He's just such an awesome guy and it's not a lot of work. There is always work, there is always compromise, and stupid moments. 'Really? Really? You can't put your Coke can in the trash? Really?' That will always exist, but I think the most important thing we've learned in the last year and a half, or that I've become more aware of and grateful for, is that this person is always on my side. The actress point out that she learned a lot about marriage with her husband in the last year. She learned that in a relationship you must make some concessions to live as good as possible with the other person. That person who is by your side is your friend and you two have to work together to make it right. She also reports that she loves her husband and he's with her in every moment of her life.
